in a larger nutshell

I consider myself a storyteller - I’m a photographer and film writer/director originally hailing from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. Having been professionally trained as an actor at the likes of ATYP and NIDA I have a passion for capturing stand out headshots that express the essence of each subject. My Urban Landscapes and Candid Portraits series have been exhibited both in Australia and the United States, as well as featured in such publications as Semi Permanent.

As a photographer I see a story in each image captured but still desired to be able to visually express my written stories... The first taste of trying to combine these two elements came in a fictional mini photo series 'Neon Nights' (2015) which was shot on expired film in New York. Filmmaking was stumbled upon after this and as a self taught filmmaker I draw on my background of photography and acting, utilising character based, situational storytelling with a comedic undertone - often highlighting the ridiculousness of everyday life.

'A Princely Sum' is my third, and most recent, short film which has just finished post production. Previous short film 'The Wave' was my directorial debut which found success as a Finalist at Short+Sweet Film Festival in Sydney and screened at LA Comedy Fest amongst many other International festivals. It is signed to US based Hewes Pictures and available on Amazon Prime Video.

Currently I’m working on my first feature film script and developing two shorts as well as being very excited to re-launch my headshot business a year after the birth of my beautiful daughter.

I look forward to sharing more stories with you,
